A Saint Mary's Education Is Within Reach
Financial Aid at Saint Mary's
When we see potential in a student, we do our best to make sure tuition doesn't get in the way of her or his future. Ninety-one percent of Saint Mary's students receive some form of financial aid. Enabling students to access a Saint Mary's education is part of our commitment to individual attention and a part of our Lasallian heritage.
Typically, students receive a combination of state and federal grants, Saint Mary's grants, and need-based and non-need-based government and private loans. Those are all in addition to the many merit-based scholarships from noteworthy academic performance and specific department honors. Many find the best combination of these resources, making the average Saint Mary's financial aid package approximately $36,780 for the 2020-21 academic year.
For New Admitted Students
It is important that you fill out the FAFSA as soon as you can. We can not offer any aid until we've received your completed forms.
If have questions or need assistance with the FAFSA, the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) offers 'Cash For College' workshops for students and families (currently offered as online webinars due to COVID). See registration information below. These workshops are offered annually by CSAC so can continue to check iink for future registration dates.
